Frequently Asked Questions
Who can enroll/Ages?
Both males and females from the ages of 4 ½ to 18.
What can my child expect from the first lesson?
On the first lesson, your child/children will receive a folder customised with their name on it, which includes the necessary stationery for your child. We also provide all booklets and books required. Throughout this lesson, our teachers will assess what level your child is at in the Arabic language and will allocate him/her a teacher to work with for the lesson. This may change if we think your child has different learning abilities.
Will my child sit with children his age or other ages?
Your child/children will be seated with other children in the same age bracket, regardless of learning abilities/levels.
What does my child need to bring?
The most important thing to bring along is a positive mindset with enthusiasm to learn the Arabic language. Additionally, bring along your printed enrollment form along with your child’s prayer mat and if needed praying outfit. Students may borrow a prayer mat or outfit from us if students aren’t able to purchase one immediately.
Is technology used in the classroom?

Lessons consist of both learning the Arabic language and Religion. At our school, not only do our students learn to read, write, and understand Arabic, but we focus on our religion including Ramadan and Eid Celebrations, lessons about our culture, manners, respect, and traditions. This includes prayer every lesson, memorising surahs from the holy Quran, Iftar dinners in Ramadan, and learning about our prophets and twelve Imams (PBUT).
What language is spoken to the children throughout the lesson?
In our classes, we use the English language to explain our lessons, however do communicate in Arabic to students who understand it.
Do the children get to have breaks?
During each lesson, we have short breaks and we encourage all students to bring a bottle of water and a healthy snack. This could mean a piece of fruit or sandwich. Please no junk food as we promote healthy eating.
