Learning Curriculum
After numerous trials and tweaks on our own children and relatives, we understood what does and doesn’t work for students based in Australia.
Using foreign curriculums is a struggle, as it is crucial to incorporate the student’s first language so that the students are familiar with their tasks and feel a sense of confidence whilst learning.
We also understood that tasks must involve both activities and writing to keep students engaged in the lesson. A booklet that consists of endless tracing and writing will get nowhere.
Our school designed our own Arabic Curriculum to cater to our Australian students whose first language is English.
In order to ensure the learning process is made as simple as possible so that the learning is short yet effective.
We had identified
- Must be fun and interactive.
- Be technology-based.
- Hands-on Educational Games
- Use of both the English and Arabic languages.
- Use of activities. (memory games, etc)
